Admission Requirements: UIC uses a holistic admission process that considers a number of factors in its decision-making process. Important elements of a competitive application include the applicant’s undergraduate academic performance, professional history, personal statement and/or letters of recommendation. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Though it is preferred that applicants maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in their undergraduate studies, UIC will consider applicants with a lower GPA provided their overall qualifications are competitive.
