MBA in Sports Management

The sport experience is following all the major global trends: digitalization, internationalization, and data-driven analytics. An online MBA in sports management provides professionals with the up-to-date knowledge and network necessary to handle a dynamic, interdisciplinary industry valued at over $400 billion dollars.

Those in traditional sports industry roles, such as sports agents, event and facility managers, sports equipment manufacturers, marketers, executives at professional sports teams, intercollegiate athletics administrators, and sports lawyers can all benefit from an MBA in sports management, preparing them for the complicated, intersectional challenges of the future.

The past two decades have seen an overall shrinking of domestic athletics markets in Western countries, but a massive proliferation of satellite and telecommunications to wider audiences abroad. Industry professionals therefore not only need to adapt to a new technological landscape, but also to a new set of management, financial, and accounting policies. An online MBA in sports management familiarizes students with this new terrain while also equipping them with the strategic methods and leadership skills necessary to excel within it.

The opportunity to pursue such programs entirely online allows working professionals to continue to advance their career while simultaneously furthering their education, proceeding at a customizable pace, with minimal logistical disruption. Advances in digital collaboration mean that online students can now access a school’s alumni and peer network just as they would on-campus, with opportunities for mentorships, internships, and job placement within the industry, all facilitated by the school’s partners and affiliates.

As the sports industry continues to evolve, so will its job demands. An online MBA in sports management equips professionals for the industry as it is today, as well as what it will be tomorrow.<-->=Any---->Any--T1==sports--Select `wp_bs_sb_school_data`.*, `wp_bs_sb_program_details`.* FROM `wp_bs_sb_school_data` JOIN `wp_bs_sb_program_details` ON `wp_bs_sb_school_data`.s_id = `wp_bs_sb_program_details`.s_id WHERE ( `wp_bs_sb_program_details`.p_concentration_name = 'sports' OR `wp_bs_sb_program_details`.p_concentration_name like '%,sports,%' OR `wp_bs_sb_program_details`.p_concentration_name like 'sports,%' OR `wp_bs_sb_program_details`.p_concentration_name like '%,sports' ) AND ( `wp_bs_sb_program_details`.p_restricted_states <> 'VA' AND `wp_bs_sb_program_details`.p_restricted_states NOT LIKE '%,VA,%' AND `wp_bs_sb_program_details`.p_restricted_states NOT LIKE 'VA,%' AND `wp_bs_sb_program_details`.p_restricted_states NOT LIKE '%,VA' ) AND `wp_bs_sb_school_data`.s_active = 'Yes'AND `wp_bs_sb_program_details`.p_active = 'yes'AND `wp_bs_sb_program_details`.p_active_dpclickaway = 'yes' ORDER BY CASE WHEN `wp_bs_sb_program_details`.p_concentration_name LIKE '%sports%' THEN 1 END, CASE `wp_bs_sb_school_data`.s_id WHEN 6 THEN 1 WHEN 29 THEN 2 WHEN 21 THEN 3 WHEN 8 THEN 4 WHEN 2 THEN 5 WHEN 32 THEN 6 WHEN 13 THEN 7 WHEN 46 THEN 8 WHEN 1 THEN 9 WHEN 25 THEN 10 WHEN 40 THEN 11 WHEN 19 THEN 12 WHEN 45 THEN 13 WHEN 12 THEN 14 WHEN 47 THEN 15 WHEN 44 THEN 16 WHEN 27 THEN 17 WHEN 49 THEN 18 WHEN 41 THEN 19 WHEN 4 THEN 20 WHEN 22 THEN 21 WHEN 31 THEN 22 WHEN 23 THEN 23 WHEN 11 THEN 24 WHEN 10 THEN 25 WHEN 16 THEN 26 WHEN 14 THEN 27 WHEN 26 THEN 28 WHEN 48 THEN 29 WHEN 36 THEN 30 WHEN 37 THEN 31 WHEN 3 THEN 32 WHEN 43 THEN 33 WHEN 35 THEN 34 WHEN 17 THEN 35 WHEN 30 THEN 36 WHEN 38 THEN 37 WHEN 18 THEN 38 WHEN 39 THEN 39 WHEN 20 THEN 40 WHEN 15 THEN 41 WHEN 28 THEN 42 WHEN 5 THEN 43 WHEN 9 THEN 44 WHEN 33 THEN 45 WHEN 24 THEN 46 WHEN 7 THEN 47 WHEN 42 THEN 48 WHEN 34 THEN 49 ELSE 99 END ASC, `wp_bs_sb_program_details`.p_name
