In today’s dynamic job market, having a bachelor’s degree sometimes is not enough. A master’s degree in business administration (MBA) is considered to be the top qualification for business management. Students pursuing an MBA learn about all facets of the business world through instruction in marketing, economics, accounting, leadership, finance, and human resource management. The coursework and real-world examples prepare students to tackle all areas of business administration.

MBA graduates can obtain management-level roles in public and private companies. They work in a wide range of industries, including retail, supply chain management, accountancy, public relations, real estate, banking, investment, and hospitality. Many universities now offer fully online MBA programs, along with several concentrations from which to choose depending on each student’s experience and professional interests.

The International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) is one of three organizations that offers accreditation to MBA and other business programs. IACBE approves entities based on the mission of a school, as well as the performance of students. The purpose of the IACBE is “to be the leader in mission-driven and outcomes-based programmatic accreditation for business and management education.” The IACBE provides accreditation to bachelor’s, master’s, associate, and doctoral degree programs.

The following guide covers five IACBE-accredited online MBA programs, as well as three distinguished faculty members from these programs.
