Study Plan: UNC utilizes the STAR program, which stands for “student teams achieving results.” This hands-on method of learning has students taking on the roles of consultants in real companies. Each team consists of 5-7 students and one faculty advisor. Students can also participate in a “doing business in” (DBI) course, where they study at one of Kenan-Flagler’s exchange partner schools for one to two weeks, allowing students to witness how business is done in a global setting. Students taking two courses per quarter can expect to graduate in 24 months, with graduation times ranging from 18 to 36 months. Start dates are offered in January, April, July, and October.

Curriculum: The MBA@UNC consists of 62 credits with nine core courses, including analytical tools for decision making, business communication, business strategy, leading and managing, microeconomics, financial accounting, finance, marketing, and operations.
