UTT’s mission is to improve educational and health care outcomes for both East Texas and beyond.

What to Expect from UTT Online MBA Programs
-
Admission Requirements: In order to be considered eligible for admission, applicants must pay an application fee and submit a complete online application, official transcripts documenting past award of a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited academic institution, documentation of a satisfactory score on the GMAT, two letters of recommendation, and a current resume.
In some cases, UTT may also accept scores from the GRE in lieu of GMAT scores. Some applicants may qualify for a waiver of the GMAT test requirement provided they meet certain work experience or education criteria. Applicants may also be offered provisional admission. Students who have provisional admission may enroll in one semester for a maximum of nine credit hours before they must submit an acceptable GMAT score.
-
State Restrictions: UTT accepts students from a variety of backgrounds, such as international students, military personnel, transfer students, and more.
International applicants must meet the minimum admission requirements as noted in the International Graduate Student Admissions section of the UTT Catalogue. These admission requirements are more stringent than those typically applied to U.S. citizen applicants. These requirements include a transcript evaluation by an accepted credential evaluation agency. As UTT does not evaluate international transcripts, international applicants must use an accepted provider for their evaluation. International applicants may also be required to demonstrate English language proficiency in circumstances where it is clear that an applicant’s native language (first language) is not English.
Military personnel are also welcome to enroll at UTT. Admission for veterans, active service members, and their families is a relatively simple process featuring an online application, official transcripts, and supporting documentation. Military personnel are often permitted several options for what sort of student status they may seek. Such options include enrolling as first-year, transfer, or graduate students. The application process for military personnel also includes applying for both general and military-specific financial aid, and completing a military credit evaluation process. The UTT Military and Veterans Success Center serves as a centralized go-to resource center for military students.
Applicants of other backgrounds are encouraged to consult the UTT website to confirm admission requirements that specifically apply to their circumstances.
-
Study Plan: Students can complete the MBA program within approximately two years. Students interested in completing their program of study part-time or over an extended time period should contact UTT to verify current policy regarding degree study planning.
-

Paying for the UTT Online MBA Degree Programs
The UTT online MBA degree program tuition figures are listed in the tables below. Prospective students should closely review tuition information and contact UTT for additional support with applications and questions as needed.
The UTT website features a wealth of information focused specifically on students’ educational financing resources. Website content covers a variety of topics, including UTT’s current tuition and fee rates, estimating the cost of attendance, common financial resources available to students, such as grants, loans, scholarships, and work-study, and details of the financial aid application process categorized for different types of students.
Many students will ultimately use federal financial aid resources to finance their higher education. To apply for federal financial aid, applicants submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students will often finance their studies through a combination of federal aid, state aid and other resources that are often composed of sources including grants, scholarships, loans, and more.
In addition, all incoming and returning graduate students are required to submit the General Scholarship Application each aid year for consideration for scholarships. Students from certain backgrounds may also be eligible for additional financial assistance. For example, military personnel may be eligible for tuition assistance programs depending upon their military service histories. More details about financial aid resources available to military personnel and students of other backgrounds can be found on the UTT website.
