State Restrictions: LA Tech welcomes students from a variety of backgrounds such as international applicants and military personnel.

International applicants must fulfill additional application requirements beyond those of domestic applicants. Such applicants must typically provide proof of English language proficiency and an evaluation of their foreign academic credentials (transcripts) prepared by an approved provider of such services. English language proficiency can generally be demonstrated with scores from the TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo or Pearson Test of English (PTE) exams. LA Tech will also accept an ELS 112 certification. Details on acceptable scores and the submission process for this information can be found on the LA Tech website.

Students originating from majority native English-speaking countries do not need to prove their English proficiency. Those interested in seeking an exemption from proving English language proficiency should contact LA Tech to inquire about this possibility. International applicants must also submit a copy of their passport and an affidavit of support documenting that they have the necessary financial resources to pay their educational expenses as part of their application.

Prospective military student applicants are advised to contact LA Tech Office of Admission for assistance with the application process. The LA Tech website lists a variety of resources specific to military applicants/students, including academic resources, guidance on requesting military transcripts, and resources available through the US Department of Veterans Affairs.
