Queens University of Charlotte Flexible MBA Online - McColl School of Business
The Queens University of Charlotte McColl School of Business offers a flexible online MBA patterned after Hugh McColl’s three C’s of leadership: competence, character, and commitment to community.
The MBA can be earned online, on campus, or with a combination of the two making it a flexible MBA. There are five concentrations available online: finance, healthcare administration, leadership and change, global business management, and executive coaching.
Queens University is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Their flexible, online MBA fosters quality leadership skills through one-on-one sessions with an executive coach in which student and coach create personalized plans to meet professional and personal goals.
Other avenues that foster leadership skills include a lecture series from business leaders, an immersive leadership challenge, and a leadership development course. In addition, the McColl School of Business focuses on experiential learning through case studies and consulting projects.
The online MBA follows a team-based learning approach where groups of five to six students who stay together for the duration of the program are formed at the required campus immersion. This creates a collaborative online learning environment, develops relationships, and helps students contribute unique perspectives to other students.
The required in-person campus immersion takes place over the course of a weekend, and gives students the opportunity to connect with peers, and also network with faculty and alumni.
