The University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) offers a fully online IACBE-accredited master of business administration (MBA) that can be completed in about 19 months. Offered through the Forbes School of Business and Technology, the UAGC online MBA takes advantage of almost 100 years of business research and the expertise of an esteemed board of directors including Steve Forbes, the chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media.

MBA coursework follows the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) core competencies for career readiness. Program outcomes center on leadership skills, collaboration, problem-solving, professional communication, critical thinking, innovation, financial analysis, and legal and ethical principles.

The University of Arizona Global Campus is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). The online MBA is accredited through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). UAGC is located in Chandler, Arizona.

What to Expect from the University of Arizona Global Campus Online MBA

Admission Requirements: Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or higher. Applicants with a 2.0 to 2.74 GPA are placed on Academic Watch. No GMAT scores or work experience are required. Application materials include an online application and official transcripts. Proof of English language proficiency is required if applicable.

Study Plan: UAGC online MBA students can complete the online MBA in about 19 months. The program consists of 13 six-week courses taken in succession. Taking accelerated courses one at a time allows students to continue working while earning their MBA. Start dates land frequently.
To graduate, online students must earn a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in all MBA coursework. Courses are 100 percent online with no campus visits or internships required. The final course is an MBA capstone.

Online MBA Curriculum: The University of Arizona Global Campus online MBA comprises 39 credits. Core courses may include leadership and teamwork; human capital management using applied psychology; global marketing; financial business overview; law and ethics in the business environment; data and decision analytics; financial statement analysis; global economics and political influence; Financial budgeting, forecasting, and Analysis; project and operations management; and an MBA capstone.

Students then choose two elective courses from the following: entrepreneur/intrapreneur; international business; and technology and innovation. The global economics and political influence course features Steve Forbes.

Online Experience: UAGC delivers courses through the Canvas classroom. This includes mobile applications for Android and iPhone. UAGC online courses have mostly digital textbooks with highlighting and notetaking features and audio capabilities for most textbooks. Live classroom support is provided round-the-clock, and students can access enrollment advisors, academic advisors, financial services, and chat support.

On-Site Requirements: There are no on-site requirements as the UAGC online MBA is 100 percent online.
