With a special emphasis on helping students to cultivate effective, ethical, and accountable managerial skills, the School of Business and Technology at Wayne State College offers two 100 percent online MBA programs: one general and one in public accounting. The general MBA is 30 credit-hours, and the public accounting MBA is 36 credit-hours.
Coursework in both programs includes financial administration, decision science, a seminar in organizational behavior, and administrative policy. No GMAT is required to apply to Wayne State; however, applications will be evaluated to see if the applicant has satisfactorily completed the “common body of knowledge” (CBK). Accepted students who do not have satisfactory undergraduate coursework in accounting, corporate finance, economics, law, management, and/or marketing statistics will be expected to take online exams ($25 per exam) to prove proficiency in each of these disciplines. If needed, accepted students can participate in online tutorials ($75 per tutorial) to cultivate enough proficiency to pass exams.
