Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) Online MBA

Our Lady of the Lake University’s (OLLU) School of Business and Leadership offers an online MBA with a general track or one of two specializations: management or healthcare management. A focus on international business sets this ACBSP-accredited online MBA apart. Topics of study include marketing, finance, accounting, global business, ethical decision-making, critical thinking in both qualitative and quantitative methods, operational management, and investments.

No business background is required to apply; however, these applicants may need to take additional non-credit leveling courses before taking certain courses. Students typically complete the MBA program within two years.

The management specialization teaches participants the latest skills in management theory, human resource management, global economics, entrepreneurship, corporate finance, and global decision-making. Graduates can become proficient at interpersonal communication and effective team management. Upon completion, graduates may go into positions as product managers, business consultants, financial managers, health services managers, or marketing managers.

The healthcare management specialization seeks to prepare participants in advanced leadership and management skills within the healthcare industry. Graduates may go into positions as hospital administrators, healthcare administrators, health services managers, nursing home administrators, or research managers. Students learn leadership strategies, healthcare law and policy, healthcare management needs, global healthcare challenges, healthcare planning, and managed care, including information on Medicare and Medicaid.

Our Lady of the Lake University is located in San Antonio, Texas. The online MBA program is accredited through the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
