Rider University Online MBA Program

The Rider University Norm Brodsky College of Business offers an online MBA with a general track or one of three concentrations: business analytics, finance, and global business. The school is located in Lawrenceville, New Jersey with another campus in Princeton, NJ. Courses are taught by faculty who hold doctoral degrees and also serve on-campus. Rider University also offers an on-campus executive MBA, a hybrid MBA, and dual MBA degrees.

The program focuses on a broad understanding of business operations that takes into account the complex landscape of today’s businesses. Topics of instruction include supply chain management, multicultural marketing, international growth, ethical decision-making, leadership skills such as interpersonal communication, team building, and management skills, business analytics, and economic strategy. With small class sizes, one-on-one access to faculty, mentoring programs, and feedback from corporate executives, students have the opportunity for a hands-on experience in an online environment.

Students may choose to complete the business analytics concentration in which they learn the latest technologies in data analytics, data mining, business administration, and database management. The finance concentration focuses on investment tools and strategies, alternative investments, financial management, portfolio management, and personal financial planning. The global business concentration focuses on the intricacies of the international economy and the policies that affect businesses that operate globally such as international trade theory, ethics, international monetary systems, global marketing, and global technology.

Graduates of the MBA program may go on to a variety of positions depending on their concentration, including marketing managers, project managers, operations managers, research analysts, global business managers and management analysts.
