Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and the GMAT is required for applicants with less than a 2.75 GPA.

Graduates of the Bethel University online MBA may go on to leadership and management positions such as operations research analyst, marketing director, financial analyst, sales manager, consultant, human resource manager, and purchasing manager. Graduates may also go on to positions in global business or entrepreneurship.

What to Expect from the Bethel University Online MBA

Admission Requirements: Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher. Applicants with less than a 2.75 GPA may be considered for provisional acceptance and must submit acceptable GMAT test scores. Application materials include a completed application, official transcripts, and all items requested through the application.

Study Plan: Bethel University runs courses every seven weeks. Students can complete the online MBA in one year by taking two courses every seven weeks or in two years by taking one course every seven weeks. Start dates land twice each in the fall, spring, and summer. Courses are 100 percent online with no campus visits or internships required. Note that students must maintain a GPA of 2.75 in order to graduate.

Online MBA Curriculum: The Bethel University online MBA comprises 36 credits including nine credits of electives. Core courses may include management in action; human resource management; the global business environment; marketing strategy and policy; accounting and managerial decision-making; values and ethics in leadership; managerial economics; financial analysis and capital budgeting; and the legal environment of business.

Electives include leadership theory and applications; not-for-profit management; investments; entrepreneurship; economic analysis and policy; and contemporary issues in business administration.

Online Experience: Bethel University utilizes the Canvas online learning management system (LMS) to deliver asynchronous online courses which may include chats and discussion boards for interaction. Assignments, assessments, and projects may also be included. Students have access to career services, IT support, the online bookstore and library, the Center for Academic Success where tutoring and other services are offered, academic advising, financial aid services, and faculty office hours and support.

On-Site Requirements: There are no on-site requirements as the Bethel University online MBA is 100 percent online.
